En este caso, no se sabe casi nada, y se desconoce todo. La actuación de la fiscalía ha sido deficiente e ineficiente. Hay una persona presa por homicidio sin pruebas en su contra, el marido de la víctima. Fue declarado inocente por unanimidad en primera instancia, en juicio oral. El Tribunal de Casación de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, extrañamente, lo declaró culpable. Y luego se negaron a revisar su caso por temas "formales", demorando esta respuesta 2 años. Pedimos que dejen de negarse a revisar el caso. Y que se investigue apropiadamente para que se haga justicia.

There is an innocent person who was sentenced to life imprisonment being accused of murder without evidence against him and against the evidence that shows his innocence; his name is Carlos Carrascosa. He was found not guilty by a unanimous vote in the first instance on an oral trial.

The “Tribunal de Casación Penal de Buenos Aires, Sala 1ª” of the province of Buenos Aires (which function is to revise cases but not to sentence them), in an unusual ruling, declared him guilty. And then, the judges refused to review his case, alleging there were 'formal' topics in the presentation. Carlos Carrascosa has unjustly spent more than three years in prison, and so he is still there. Therefore, we demand to the Supreme Court of Argentina to revise this case as soon as possible. All we are asking for is justice.

Justice has to be reached on the Garcia Belsunce case.
