Declare all scheduled languages of India as Official Languages.

The Issue

Indian Union accords a higher status to Hindi by making it the official language of the union and the union government spends crores of tax payers money to propagate it's usage as an administrative language. Also using the three language formula, Hindi has been imposed on children from non-Hindi speaking states by making it's learning compulsory in schools. Such flawed policy is resulting in non hindi speakers feeling a sense of alienation. We fear that such a discriminatory language policy will end up dividing Indians speaking different languages than uniting them. Hence, we demand for the change of language policy of the Indian Union by amending article 343 to article 351 and formulating a new language policy that gives equal status and honour to all the scheduled languages of the Indian Union.
