John Westmoreland is being victimised by his employer, York College, for carrying out legitimate trade union duties in his capacity as UCU branch chair. 

The year-long campaign of bullying which John has faced from York College management is an attempt to weaken the union branch. John is an outstanding trade unionist who has always stood up and fought against injustice, and a fine teacher of history who is very popular with students.

John must be allowed to return to his job without the threat of disciplinary charges over him. Please sign this petition.
