In a tele-conference call with the White House held on January 20th, 2010 to discuss Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Cecilia Muñoz, Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at the White House stated that the White House has not taken a position on the Uniting American Families Act (UAFA; S.424; H.1024) and she is are not sure if there is any plans to change that.

President Obama and his administration has made several comments over the past year to the media and on its own website supporting an INCLUSIVE Comprehensive Immigration Reform - with language that includes LGBT Families. 

Please help us remind President Obama as well as his administration of his promise to our community and make sure that he keeps to his promise - that LGBT Families be included in Comprehensive Immigration Reform and that he will support FULL federal rights for all LGBT Couples, which includes the ability to sponsor their same sex partner for a green card.
