From next year, UCA will start making drastic cuts to its staffing budget, and this will affect you !

1st year are asked to pay more for a lower quality education !
2nd year are asked to accept lower quality education for the same price !
3rd year, if UCA is being destroyed and if its reputation diminishes you will have to drag around this heavy burden in your CV.
Some Technicians and members of staff are going to lose their jobs.

The biggest cuts are proposed within Faculty Technicians and Library and Student Services, two essential resources for UCA students!

Some Technicians and members of staff are going to lose their jobs and or have their hours cut.
This means a lower number of staff with a higher workload. 

Over 40% of all UCA students are non- traditional students. This means that nearly half of us are disabled and mature students. If front facing services such as the library and students services suffer such cutbacks, the students will suffer from the day we walk in through the door. 

With nearly half of our student population using these services why does the university feel it is ok to make such huge cuts with no consultation with either the Students or the Student Union?
