Most people making under $40k a year in this country have a Direct Tax burden of over 50% of their total yearly earnings. This is beyond unfair and is the very definition of indentured servitude. IE Slavery. I am not actually against an income tax. you PROFIT because of the nation that is built that allows you to profit sharing some of that is "fair" but wages are NOT INCOME. getting paid $10 an hour for 2 hours is an exchange of 2 hours of your labor for $20. this is an EVEN zero income zero profit exchange. This is NO different than walking into a bank with four $5 bills and asking to exchange them for one $20 bill. equal exchange. No profit NO income.

NO taxes at all 0% on wages. ONLY on income. this includes all federal income taxes this includes employer matching funds etc.. etc..

If you do not earn a profit you should not be taxed. any "direct" tax not based on income (ie wages) is a head tax and head taxes are illegal. They are a tax on your very existence and that is slavery by definition.

THIS would be real change that would be GOOD for the people.

What is income? income is basically "profit" get a bonus? that is income. get a spiff? that income. Get a commission? that is income. Earn a profit? that is income.

a WAGE is NOT income under any valid definition of the word. and WAGE taxes are (along with USURY) why the middle class is suffering.
