United Nations: Acknowledge our Universal Declaration of Digital Rights

The Issue

Recent international events have shown that universal digital rights could well be the most important issue of our generation.  Digital rights represent the twenty-first century's continuation of the human and civil rights movements and are at the forefront of the current battle in protecting citizens around the world from terror, crime, unfair exploitation and tyranny.

The time has come to establish a Universal Declaration of Digital Rights, that clearly outlines the fundamental principles on how governments, companies and third parties can use citizens’ data online.  This declaration should be ratified by the United Nations as a natural extension of our human rights. With your help we can demand this acknowledgement from our leaders and protect our digital human rights going forward.

Digital Rights are Human Rights - Stand up for Yours.
