Elton Community Primary School does not want, or need, to become an academy. We are a community school and believe children should be educated by educators and not businesses. We have the democratic right to fight for the school to remain part of the local community, offering a fully inclusive education service and we will fight to ensure that the parent's voices are heard, understood and respected.

Elton Community Primary School is making good progress to remove themselves from Special Measures with best ever Key Stage Two results predicted for 2014. As a result we should not be forced into academy status simply to tick boxes and satisfy Government targets.
