Under current rules the CSA are powerless to enforce fair maintenance payments on those who are on benefits or those who are self employed. Yet for employed parents, the payments can be directly taken and can be extremely high.

We would like to see a new fair system in place, where the unemployed cannot just offer £5 of taxpayers money and self employed people cannot make up their own earnings to dictate their maintenance payments.
