LIBERATE is the first group in the Channel Islands to represent the islands' Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) community. 

We are an inclusive group and do not discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, etc.

LIBERATE petitions the governments of the Bailiwicks of Guernsey and Jersey to:

Introduce equal marriage legislation in the islands.  Love is love no matter whether you are a heterosexual or same-sex couple.  We believe everyone has the right to marry the person they love and be treated equally under the law.

Introduce anti-discriminatory legislation or an Equality Act and which addresses homophobic, biphobic and transgender hate crime.

Reform all existing laws and policies such as Income Tax legislation to ensure that they are non-discriminatory.
