The Issue

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) has already put forth a comprehensive immigration reform bill in the House, which stresses the urgent need to repair our broken immigration system.

Now Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is working on an immigration bill for the Senate. Let's thank Senator Schumer for his commitment to comprehensive immigration reform and let him know that we support his efforts to move the bill now -- to help our economy and because it's the right thing to do.
