The Montana Republican Party has an official platform that calls for people to be arrested on the basis of their sexual orientation.

"We support the clear will of the people of Montana expressed by legislation to keep homosexual acts illegal," their platform says. This is despite the fact that both the Montana State Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court have ruled that laws making homosexuality illegal are unconstitutional.

No political party -- Republican, Democrat, Green, Constitution, or Tea, if that's how they want to be officially known -- should get away with calling for people to be arrested for their sexual orientation. Send Montana's state GOP Chairman a message that criminalization language should be removed from their party's official platform.
