Support the Stephen D. Vance Foundation

California, United States
Created December 24, 2008

The Issue

The Stephen D. Vance Foundation was created to provide support services to the families of slain international aid workers. Stephen D. Vance was assassinated in Peshawar, Pakistan on November 12, 2008, where he had been leading a team of aid workers to bring development into the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of north western Pakistan, an area long left behind.

Stephen’s assassination abruptly ended his lifelong mission to helping people rise from poverty around the globe. Stephen was fully committed to his vision of success through carefully crafted development projects, rooted in his initial experience while volunteering at the Peace Corps. For over three decades, Stephen’s dedicated and selfless hard work has benefited populations all over the world, from Zaire to East Timor, from Mongolia to Pakistan. He leaves behind his wife and five young children, who were immediately rushed to the United States, for their protection.

Please donate to the Stephen D. Vance foundation to help fund this worthy cause, as the numbers of murdered international aid workers are rising every year. Any donation, of any amount, will be greatly appreciated.
