This campaign is important for the following:
The BBC states that original British drama has a home on BBC 1 & BBC 2, as Dirk Gently is original and successful it is as important to be re-commissioned as it is to commission new drama. The fact that it was broadcast on BBC 4 doesn't mean that it should be axed, it should however be given an opportunity to find a broader audience by being shown on BBC 2 or BBC 1 at prime time viewing schedule.
