Witney is a growing and vibrant market town. We believe that the decision of the Post Office to close its High Street branch in Witney will have a devastating impact on the town. The plans for a franchise in another retailer will not be sufficient for the needs of needs of Witney residents who depend on the vital services the Post Office offers. We, the undersigned, therefore demand the Post Office rethink their plans and commit to safeguarding the future services and jobs at Witney Post Office.
