We urge that officers of the law be instructed, in the spirit and non-violent practice of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to meet legal, non-violent protestors with actions conscientiously appropriate to the actions of individual human beings.

Group infractions should be punished, including even dismissal, by superiors in their organizations. Identifiable individuals who violate legal statutes also should face any applicable legal criminal charges.

These guidelines for managerial legal authorities should apply also to ANY forthcoming demonstrations; that is, demonstrations that seek changes in the practices of the target(s). choosing this manner of expression by individuals working together toward similar goals and after other courses of negation have failed.
