Leeds Student, Leeds University's free student newspaper, is an integral part of the university's ecosystem. We are a committed, intelligent and passionate group of volunteers who, week in week out, compose a paper that students across campus enjoy. It is vital that the Union fulfills its promise to fund this valuable platform for free speech. For the sake of aspiring journalists and future students, we desperately need Leeds University Union to fulfill their pledge and provide the rest of the funding; all £5200 which has not been provided, in order to sustain the paper for the remainder of this year and to give our future editor a healthy financial backdrop at the start of the next academic year. We have received an astonishing level of support from societies across the university so far, but we require your support in order to bolster our campaign.
