This is to inform you that the Council received an apllication in December 2013 for the erection of a rooftop base telecommunication station at the NG Church in Kreupelbosch.  The land is zoned Community and under the new Cape Town Zoning
Scheme, one of their primary rights is to have a rooftop base telecommunication station which means that no public participation or notification to neighbouring properties is necessary.   There is no appeal or objection process.

We are going public and asking the community to stand united against the planned rooftop base telecommunication station. This platform is also to share some of the documentation we have on the health hazards of rooftop base telecommunication station.

The Church previously applied for a rooftop base telecommunication station, in 2002, which was approved but because of opposition from both the Bergvliet, Meadowridge Ratepayer’s Association and nearby residents, they did not go ahead with erecting the rooftop base telecommunication station.
