Battlefield is host to big battles it is their staple in the gaming industry.  Not being able to squad up with friends before matches mars the experience.  EA / DICE have gone on record that this feature is not being implimented.  If you haven't purchased BF4 Premium I would suggest that you do not until you hear news on this and sign below.
