The Bedroom Tax is a vicious attack on the incomes of the poorest and most vulnerable people, many of them disabled. It has created added poverty, stress, upheaval and even suicides. And it has caused pay cuts and job losses amongst staff in social housing.

I welcome the belated pledge you, Ed Miliband, have made that a future Labour government would abolish it. But people can't wait in the hope of a Labour government for another 2 years; this iniquitous benefits cut needs to be abolished NOW! 

The LibDem conference also recently condemned the bedroom tax, which means if you present a Motion in the House of Commons for its immediate abolition, there should be an in-built majority to end the misery faced by 660,000 households plus social housing workers.
