Frederick Road is a steep and dangerous road, very narrow in places, and busy as it's used as a rat-run from Priory Road to The Ridge. Missing speed cushions mean vehicles drive on the wrong side of the road, adding to the dangers. A 20mph speed limit would be more appropriate for the conditions of the road, and would help to stop it being used as a rat run. Also, the 'voluntary' lorry ban at the Clifton Road junction has not worked, as HGVs still get stuck on the narrow section beyond Clifton Road. A proper, statutory ban needs to be introduced.
