The Walk in Centre at Accrington Victoria Hospital serves a population of 80,000 residents and in the last year had over 35,000 visits, proving that this very popular and well used service is obviously needed. It is now under threat due to budget cuts and we are calling for East Lancs Health Chiefs to keep this service. We believe that if this service is withdrawn the future of Accrington Victoria Hospital will be less secure.
