Crystal Palace Park is one of the best parks in London, it has a vast range of different features from huge stone dinosaurs to Athletics Stadia, a perfect addition to this would be a skatepark.

A group of skateboarders have been skating in the park for many years and it would be a massive step foward to provide a dedication facility for this sport.

Certain area's of the park have already been used for skateboarding footage and films, although the majority of these area's are off limits to skateboarders.

In the 1980's, there was a skating facility which it seems was very popular with area. Through social media we have learnt that a lot of the people that used to skate there, would love to see it return for themselves and for the next generation.

A skatepark would be an important and great addition to the local community as it will help people keep fit and socialize through the sport.
