At the moment, good men are treated very poorly by the Family Law Court and its appointed officers, including underqualified Family Consultants and Independent Children's Lawyers. Anyone who knows a man who has been involved with the Family Law system is aware of this baseless bias against men. It is not caused by anything the man may have done, but it is systemic and is applied to all males. The Equal Opportunity Commission, the Government's own anti-discrimation agency have stated they are fully aware that men are being discriminated against in the Family Law Court based on gender alone, but have stated that the Family Law Court is immune from this agency and all others. Academics, including Psychologists, have attempted to intervene to help protect Australian children but are brushed aside by the Family Law Court. As a result science is being ignored in favour of personal views held by Officers of the Court and many thousands of Australian children's futures have been placed at risk due to these facts, as they are deprived of the necessary and healthy influence of a good father.
