Ask WHSmith to make gun magazines promoting animal killing age-restricted

The Issue

Shooting magazines that contain images of people gloating over animals they have recently killed are available to children in outlets such as WHSmith. These magazines normalise the killing of animals for pleasure, encourage people to see animals as mere objects, and should not be placed alongside other lifestyle magazines. In 2012, an Animal Aid poll found that 74% of the public agree that these magazines should be removed to the ‘top shelf’ and 84% agreed that they should not be on sale to children.
