NIMBYism in this city is out of control. Having a centrally located place where people can celebrate their loved ones should be promoted and accepted. If we are so selfishly motivated that all we care about is our property values and our parking, then we will cease to be a compassionate society. Let's try to get this petition out there to serve as a line in the sand against self-interested people across this possibly fine city.
