Quvenzhane Wallis is a nine year old Black girl and no one, let alone a child deserves to be called such a terrible slur. The Onion has deleted the tweet, without issuing an apology and this suggests that they don't see that what they did was not only harmful to Quvenzhane but to all little girls. This wasn't just a case of the covert sexism that all little girls and women must face, this was a violent misogynist episode.
