Gambier Island is a integral part of Howe Sound which is between Vancouver and Whistler. The Government of British Columbia has vastly increased clear cutting for raw log exports over the last decade and as one of the most beautiful areas on BC's West Coast the proposal to clear cut on this island demands a response on the part of citizens who are concerned about deforestation and climate change.
