The pier has been an important part of Rondeau Park for many years. Most visitors to the park will include a walk down the pier on their trip. There are many beautiful sights of nature in the park but the pier is a popular family gathering place for swimming, fishing and just looking over the water. We would miss what the pier added to Rondeau Provincial Park if it is not replaced. It would be regrettable if we would lose such a long-enjoyed healthy way to be connected to family and the beauty of nature rather than the internet.
