On July 12, 2014 in Truro NS a beautiful sweet cat named Wrangler was taken from his family just a few feet from his home by the senseless brutal act of a total stranger. This person stopped his car got out and lured this trusting young animal to him then proceeded to brutally take his life. This act left a mother and her two young children broken hearted and violated. For too many years such horrible crimes have been punished with the proverbial "slap on the wrist". Please help us show the justice system that we can no longer accept this. Our pets are our family members and crimes such as this are not just a crime against an animal but against the family who adored them, against the people who love the family and indeed against all animal lovers.PLEASE let the law reflect our compassion not only for the animals themselves but for the families that are devastated by such acts of cruelty.
