Mud Immortal was a total SCAM. Approximately 5000 people signed up for an event that was falsely advertised, very unorganized, dangerous, unsecured and a complete waste of time. It was the perfect scam for Jonathan Brett - it was apparent that there was no effort put into the construction of the four obstacles (wasn't there suppose to be 10?). These obstacles fell apart and were unsafe. Certainly not built to accommodate 5000 people. Had we known, Mud Immortal was going to be a jog through the park and bog, we would not have paid the high registration fee.

Jonathan Brett scammed an estimated $300,000 from the citizens of Newfoundland this past weekend. It is unfair and we would like our money back.

Below is a list of items taken directly off the Mud Immortal website that were advertised as part of the event and were clearly not implemented.

Items that were falsely advertised are as follows;
1. Access to the Immortal Kitchen Party with beer, BBQ & live entertainment.
2. Free high-resolution digital event picture of you.
3. A chance to win prizes every week leading up to the event.
4. We are giving away some really great prizes every week.
5. Yes! We have prizes for the best costume and the best neon costume.
6. Yes, we have prizes for the best time for Male and Female. We also have prizes for best costume, best neon costume, largest team
7. Yes we have a bag check for smaller items.
8. Yes, we will have at least 2 water stations located throughout the course.
9.There will be between 8-10 obstacles on the course. That doesn't count running through streams, going through the forest or climbing hills.
10.Yes, you will get a racing chip in your packet when you arrive. It's simple to hook on and will track your start – finish times. Results will be posted within a day or two on mudimmortal.com
11. Will there be food?Yes!

13. When will the picture be available for download? 2-3 days after the event.
