I am writing to you, Minister Teresa Piruzza as the minister responsible for women's issues in Ontario, requesting that the funding to MicroSkills Information Technology Training for Women and Women In Skills Trade programs be reinstated now.

Your decision to cut this funding, and especially without transition notice and support affects the most marginalized and vulnerable women in our community, the very women we believe your ministry aims to empower.   We can only assume that your decision was made without   consultation and for that reason we implore you to discuss with us the contributions MicroSkills has made and continues to make in women's life.

Furthermore, we demand that you immediately reinstate funding to the MicroSkills Information Technology and Skills Trade training programs for women now!
