Dear Volkswagen,

I love you but when are you going to put that magnificent 4.2TDI V8 engine in the Amarok? Seriously, it has been too long already and enough is enough. In a market sector where you are in direct competition with the Toyota LC79 double cab 4.5L V8 TD, the Nissan Navara 3.0L V6 TD, the Ford Ranger/Mazda Bravo 3.2L 5cyl TD and the Holden Colorado 2.8L TD, the 2.0L Amarok deserves something more than the 2.0L DTT. But please! please! please! keep the manual transmission! No real driver anjoys an automatic.
