Geert Wilders in an elected Member of the Dutch Parliament. He leads the thrid-largest party. He applied for a visa in late August and STILL has not been granted one. Minister Bowen should apply the same standard he applied to Islamofacsist Taji Mustafa. Mr Bowen claimed his hands were tied and Mr Mustafa must be allowed to come because he 'was not a memebr of a proscribed organisation and does not have a criminal record' Nor does Mr Wilders. Mr Bowen also said '
'I conduct myself, in relation to the character test, in accordance with my responsibilities under the act. To do otherwise would be to open the Commonwealth to potential overturning of the decision and a potential very serious compensation' in relation to the prospect of reject the Islamist.
We urge Mr Bowen to protect free speech and follow his own standards.
