Provide Google Maps with Timetables and Scheduling Data

Provide Google Maps with Timetables and Scheduling Data
The issue
Sign this petition to ask Public Transport Victoria to please supply their transit information to Google, so that all users of the Victorian Public Transport system can easily and quickly plan their travel.
The current journey planner at http://ptv.vic.gov.au/ is sadly inadquate and requires users to have prior knowledge of the stop they want to depart from and arrive at.
Google Maps will give users a more simple and effective journey planner, without the user needing to know stop details before searching, potentially resulting in a higher usage of public transport, and more efficient usage by users.

Not offering Google Maps users transit information alienates visitors to the State of Victoria from interstate and overseas, where it is commonplace to expect public transport to be available on Google Maps, and may harm Melbourne's excellent reputation as a place to visit or move to.
Google provides easy and simple guidelines to make this happen - shown at http://maps.google.com/help/maps/transit/partners/participate.html
