My daughter Samantha suffers from a rare, incurable white blood cell disease called Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE). This rare disease has caused her to lose all food from her diet except white potatoes. She suffers severe food allergies. She is fed through a g tube in her stomach with a special formula. Samantha is an aspiring chef and takes culinary classes.

More than 15 million people worldwide suffer from food allergies and they would love to see a show like this to know there are options out there and that they are not alone.

It is her dream to become a chef and to watch Iron Chef America create something without the top allergens.
