International students bring over $15 billion of annual export income to Australia, paying two times higher education fees compared to local students. International students work alongside studies and pay taxes - we want to blend in and therefore we need same public transport rights to all students! Favouring one group of students and sidelining another is discrimination. International students must be allowed transport concession based on need, rather than the existing criteria based on visa status. All other Australian states have already allowed travel concession for international students - now it's Victoria's turn. 

In order to facilitate a functioning, more multicultural Victorian community, international students must be made feel more welcome here. Despite years of many organisations campaigning, nothing has happened. We cannot wait for any longer.
