We have all heard of the devastating harm of pollution on our oceans, but do not realize that modern corporate fishing methods are even more ruinous. Wildlife organizations mislead us from reality, and it is time we step up. Every single one of us is affected by oceanic and environmental destruction, and if we want to live in a world of beautiful biodiversity and harmony, it is time to let our leaders know the ocean matters. 

The problem is not fishing, but rather corporate fisheries which prioritize wealth over wildlife and incorporate methods like bottom trawling which massacre more marine life than is consumable. This issue is more urgent than we can imagine and is threatening our very lives. 

To stop these corporations from ruining our lives, we need to force our governments to regulate commercial fishing. We cannot allow them to continue overfishing, for our sake and the sake of our generations.
