Inform yourself of the work that the UN is doing through UNA-USA. The United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building understanding of and support for the ideals and vital work of the United Nations among the American people.

UN is an International Body to take actions and influence governments. It is booth an opinion builder and action taking body ………… much in this world depends on its judicious functioning

While working locally, it is necessary to know what the world community is doing through its various team-efforts. One of the teams is the United Nations. Given its visibility amongst ordinary citizens the world over, any program at a regional or city level can be dovetailed with the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, and other initiatives to bring the FEEL of working together as a global team while doing local work.
