It has taken 4 years of negotiating to develop this standard that will be finally issued in October of 2010.

The Standard will only be used as a "guideline" and not have any real enforcement strategy.

We are asking individuals and companies to be aware of the guideline and bring its "intention" into their  daily routines and behaviours.  This Standard is a Peace Tool that serves many of the worlds common initiatives - such as the Earth Charter, the MDG's, the Consumer Protection Act (1985), and the United Nations Global Compact.

We are establishing 1% of the human population as our goal - at the launch date of the Standard.
