TELL THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB TO STOP SUPPORTING PUPPY MILLS
The Issue
Why is the American Kennel Club so adamantly opposing proposed legislation that would control puppy mills?
Take a good look at the position of the American Kennel Club under the title "Legislative Alerts":
" CA Senate Bill 250 (Pet Responsibility Act)Fails Initial Vote - Thank Your Legislators!
If your Assembly member voted No or Abstained, please thank him or her for their support and ask for their continued opposition to SB 250....
- Mandatory Spay/Neuter Enacted in Claremore, OK
The American Kennel Club opposes mandatory spay/neuter laws....
- Attend the Illinois Breeder Task Force Meeting on September 29
This task force was created in response to concerns with legislation introduced early this year that sought to severely regulate and limit responsible breeding in Illinois.
Wisconsin Breeders Bills to be Heard Sept. 23
(Regarding Senate Bills 250 and 208)
The bills will also impose strict penalties for operating a facility without a license, including up to a $10,000 fine, or up to nine months imprisonment, or both.....Concerned responsible dog breeders and owners in Wisconsin are encouraged to attend the committees’ joint meeting"
