Every month, thousands and thousands of Americans become uninsured. Three out of 5 women have problems paying their medical bills. Women postpone medical care because they can't afford it. They wonder if a pre-existing condition will prevent them from finding coverage.
All Americans need health care reform that:
* Provides affordable health care,
* Assures comprehensive benefits, including reproductive health services and
* Ends insurance practices that discriminate against women.
We can't wait. I urge you to pass health care reform legislation that meets the needs of women and their families this year.
