For more than 10 years, Mr. Lee has been more than a security guard to us; he was someone we could call our friend. No matter when or where, when you needed him, he was always there. He showed up for us in ways most of us had never seen before. Mr. Lee was more than just hallway patrol; he was the heart of Freedom High School. He knew every student's name, their stories, and their dreams. His presence brightened every hallway and every classroom in ways that impacted everyone. In honor of his legacy, we are calling on our school board and Principal Smith to rename our football field in his honor to ensure that his legacy lives on.
