Make the Melbourne Football Club review independent of current club administrators

Make the Melbourne Football Club review independent of current club administrators
The Issue
As passionate supporters of the Melbourne Football Club, we are deeply invested in the future and success of our beloved team. Many of us have stood by the club through its most challenging times, providing unwavering support both emotionally and financially.
With this in mind, we request that the review of the club's operations be entirely free from the influence of CEO Gary Pert and any current administration members who have overseen the past two years. It should also be free of any other organisations that have a recent financial relationship with the club. We believe that such a review is crucial for:
Transparency: Building trust between the club's leadership and its supporters.
Accountability: Ensuring that decisions are made in the best interest of the club's future.
Improvement: Identifying areas where the club can grow and better serve its members and supporters.
Our goal is not to cast blame but to foster a culture of openness, trust and continuous improvement within the Melbourne Football Club. As part of the review, the CEO should have their say, but should not be actively involved in assessing their own work and decisions. Furthermore, having the review conducted by someone who has received previous contracts from the administration is a conflict of interest. These conflicts of interest are clear and obvious.
As supporters, we simply need to know that recommendations and subsequent decisions are being made in the best interest of the club, not those who run it.
