Free Paul Oliver Brock

Free Paul Oliver Brock
The Issue
Paul Brock is currently serving life without parole for another man's crime. No evidence was found to connect him to the deaths of two of the people in this case. However, there is ample evidence to prove him innocent of murder, including DNA taken from one of the female victim's right-hand fingernails, the same side that she was hit on the head and shot at close range (arms length). No one else had anyone's DNA on them, not even the real killer's wife.
The DNA belonged to the man who had a history of violence and abuse toward his wife, who was shot, too. A man who was under the influence of several drugs, according to the autopsy report, drugs that have severe side effects of anxiety, paranoia, aggression, and violence. This man tried to kill Paul but Paul killed him first. This is still called self-defense.
The police department did a poor and incomplete investigation in this case.
The state medical examiner collected evidence properly. His diligence allowed lab techs to discover DNA evidence from the right-hand fingernail clippings of the grandmother, Mary. The DNA of Aaron Byers. Not Paul Brock!!
Also present on her skin was stippling (Stippling in a gunshot wound occurs when the gun is fired at close range, causing the burning gunpowder and debris to create small punctate abrasions around the main entrance wound). This discovery allowed technicians to ascertain that Mary was shot at close range. Certainly within arm's reach.
Her autopsy revealed that she had also been struck by a blunt object on the right side of her head. This altogether proves that Aaron was very close to Mary when she was killed and that he contributed the DNA beneath her right-hand fingernails. This could explain the scratches found on his hand by the medical examiner.
In the weeks and months leading up to their murders, both women, Tiffany and Mary, had called 911 on two separate occasions to report domestic violence on Aaron Byers. This is evident from police reports and bruises in various healing stages on Tiffany's body.
The only DNA found on Paul Brock was that of Aaron. This would be expected due to the short time after Aaron murdered the women in their home, Paul was forced to kill Aaron in self-defence in the cab of his truck to save himself from a similar fate.
The prosecutor did not test Aaron Byer's clothes and relied only on false testimony to spin a narrative that would contradict the scientific and physical evidence. (i.e, all the blood on the floor shown in the crime scene photos that was not on Paul's shoes or clothing). (Impossible!!) The judge would not allow testimony that supported the defense and rejected any motions that would allow for Paul Brock to get a fair trial.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. There are mountains of forensic, physical, and circumstantial evidence to prove Paul's innocence. With your help, he will receive the freedom that he deserves.
