We, the community of Buhl School District #412, petition Buhl School District Board of Trustees to overturn the 6% pay raise and 2-year contract extension for Ron Anthony with immediate removal of Ron Anthony as Buhl School District Superintendent.  

There is substantial evidence of Ron’s poor leadership practices, lack of managerial integrity, and breach of ethical conduct. Our teachers and staff should not fear retaliation for speaking up about what is right. This lack of ethical conduct does not create a safe and positive learning environment for students and staff of the Buhl School District. This questionable ethical conduct does not match Buhl School District’s Mission and Vision Statements, nor does it follow the school motto. 

Ron has been found guilty by the Idaho State Department of Educational Professional Standards Commission of violating the Idaho School Code of Ethics by falsifying ISEE reports for years. There is documentation that the matter was brought to his attention with no action taken. There is also cogent evidence that falsifying the teacher of record is still happening at this time.

Concern has been raised that by having closed-door meetings is within violation of the Idaho Open Meeting Statue, which in turn would violate the decision of his pay raise and contract extension.  

The disunity that Ron, as superintendent, has created within our district is impacting the most defenseless and vulnerable citizens within our community, the students of Buhl School District. We, the community and families of Buhl School District, are asking our Board of Trustees to listen and act.

The future lies within the hands of the students of the Buhl School District. Keeping a man that lacks integrity and unethical practices hinders the potential of our students and children’s futures. 

We implore the Board of Trustees to overturn the 6% pay raise and 2-year contract extension with the removal of Ron Anthony as Superintendent immediately.
