My name is Jalen Faith, thanks for visiting my profile. I'm a 17 year old student from Indiana, currently attending Indiana Connections Academy (an online public high school). I joined change.org with hopes of making change in the world, and to support other petitions. I'm the creator of the Lauren's Law petition which has reached media attention from the Bloomington Herald Times, WTHR in Indianapolis, and the Indiana Daily Student (which is Indiana University's newspaper). Although the petition has been deemed unconstitutional I feel that we should continue to try, and push this petition. It's VERY important when it comes to saving lives. Do you have questions? Feel free to inbox me! I'm also available 24/7 via email firstname.lastname@example.org. I prefer media requests be made to email@example.com. Thanks!
KEEP THE LAUREN SPIERER BUTTON ON THE SITE 24/7!!!
Lauren Spierer, from New York, vanished on 6/3/11 from her college town in Bloomington Indiana. For more information about Lauren Spierer, and how you can help visit findlauren.com. Since the disappearance of Lauren Spierer, Indiana University of Bloomington has had a button directing anyone who clicks on it to information about Lauren, and how you can help. However on 4/4/12 (just one day after the 8th month mark of Lauren's disappearance) Indiana University removed the button. They later released a statement saying they need to add other important information so they will cycle the button and have it visible once a week every month. What's more important than getting the word out for a missing student? Indiana University has shown that they do NOT care about their students. This is not acceptable. Please sign this petition which will ask Indiana University to keep Lauren's information up on their official website 24/7. Thank you!
