Do more than just file a grievance, if The union believes Haggen planned this all along.
UFCW, Local 770 President Rick Icaza said the companies have “misled and mistreated their employees either through gross self-interest or gross incompetence.” “The union believes Haggen planned all along to shut and sell those stores, deceiving their employees and depriving them of their livelihood,” Icaza said Monday. “It’s apparent to me that they didn’t plan to keep them all.” Well do more than just file a grievance!
