Stop the government controlling over our money on esa or jsa benefits
Please scrap your plans to introduce pre-paid benefit cards. Benefit claimants deserve to live in peace and dignity, not to be treated like criminals or naughty children. Why is this important? While I understand your intention to curb spending on alcohol, drugs, tobacco and gambling, it is wrong to tar all benefit claimants with the same brush. Not allowing us to have any cash at all is an unwise and unworkable idea, because some things do require cash, e.g. travelling on the bus, buying fresh vegetables and fruit from a farmer's market, using vending machines, using a trolley at the supermarket, buying second-hand clothes from a car boot sale. If, for instance, you were to tell a person who has worked all of their life, but has recently become unemployed through no fault of their own (e.g. redundancy), that they can't even buy a magazine or go for a coffee with a friend is ridiculous, and being told what to do like a naughty child would be degrading. It would also be ridiculous, and degrading, for them to be dictated to by the government and be told "You can't have any cash, you can only spend money in these shops, you can have this but you can't have that, because we say so." Iain Duncan-Smith, whose idea it is, has not said exactly when he intends to push his plans through, and what worries me the most is how far he and the rest of the government intend to dictate to benefit claimants what they can and cannot spend their money on. Just what else, exactly, will the government define as irresponsible spending? Will they tell us that we can't buy a laptop, a t-shirt, an item of stationery or pet food, for instance? The bottom line is, responsible benefit claimants do not deserve to be treated like criminals or naughty children, especially if they are sick or disabled and/or are doing everything the DWP ask of them. The whole idea needs a lot more thinking through before the government even think about rolling it out, so that the majority of benefit claimants, who are responsible, law-abiding citizens, can continue to live their lives in peace and dignity.
stop this and keep the old Hoover's between 700watts 2000watts

Super-strong vacuum cleaners will be banned within days, but in a bid to cut power usage, up to 30 smaller appliances could also be affected next spring. The EU wants to reduce energy consumption by 30% by 2030. Its energy commissioner, Günther Oettinger, told German newspaper Bild: "We haven’t got round to these devices yet, we want to curb power consumption. Therefore there needs to be mandatory consumption limits for small electrical appliances." But deputy UKIP leader Paul Nuttall MEP slammed the move as "nannying". He told the Daily Telegraph: "This is being done in the name of tackling climate change but the reality is it won’t help one iota and will just make life harder for house-proud householders. "I am sure grown-ups can decide which hairdryer, kettle or vacuum cleaner they want to buy without nannying EU interference." Swept away: Powerful vacuum cleaners are banned in an attempt to cut energy usage A study for the European Commission suggests the power of hairdryers could be cut by up to 30%. But Mark Coray, former president of the National Hairdressers’ Federation, said he was unimpressed with a lower-wattage hairdryer he had tried. He told the Telegraph: "It gets very hot but it doesn’t blow very fast. The more powerful, the faster the blow dry – it’s as simple as that." European Commission energy spokeswoman Marlene Holzner insisted it was a "big question mark" whether hairdryers would be regulated. She added: "It’s a study we asked consultants to do. In the final report, they will reduce 30 products to 20. In January 2015 we will look at these recommendations then select from this list what to regulate and how."
