Hello, I am a Stormfront user and my username is Whitedingo11. I have recently have some bad experiences of which I do not believe are completely fair. This petition is simply asking that the website of Stormfront make some changes regarding bans, sanctions and infractions and the moving and deleting of threads of which I believe will make Stormfront fairer and will give more power to the users such as me. Here below, I will list the following changes of which Stormfront should make of which could benefit both users and moderators. 1. I believe that users should have the ability to appeal bans, sanctions and infractions of which could be reviewed by an independent moderator so that unfair or harsh bans, sanctions or infractions can be overturned or reduced. This will give users the ability to defend themselves if they believe that the ban, sanction or infraction is unfair. It sure isn't nice to be punished if you don't get the chance to defend yourself from the accusation or alleged rule break. 2. When a ban or sanction happens, a detailed message should be sent to the user via both private messages and email explaining why the ban, sanction or infraction has occurred and how long it shall last. It would be nice to know why I am being punished. Most users such as me do want to and try very hard to follow the rules and if punished, are simply unable to stop reoffending if we do not know which rule we are breaking, how we are breaking the rule and how to stop breaking the rule we are breaking. This will make it harder for users to be banned for stupid, ridiculous and unfair reasons. 3. When a post or thread is deleted or moved, a detailed message should be sent to the the user via private messages explaining why this has happened. If a thread is moved, the user should be informed of where the thread has been moved to. It is very annoying when you can not find a post or thread you created. One often assumes that the thread was never posted in that place and repost which really annoys the moderators.  4. When a ban or sanction happens, the name of the moderator who issued the ban or sanction should be connected to the ban. This helps hold moderators accountable. If they are to restrict access to a user, they shouldn't be able to do it anonymously. Anonymousness makes it easy for one to abuse there power. 5. The ability to contact a moderator or Stormfront management team during a ban. It is very annoying when one gets a ban and they cannot contact a moderator to ask what is going on or get any advice on what to do and you have to wait until the ban is lifted to ask 'what is going on here'? 6. The ability to report moderators if you believe they are acting cruelly or unfairly to you. I'm sure that most moderators on Stormfront are good people just trying to make sure that people follow the rules but I'm sure there would be a small minority who abuse their power as moderators and use their power against those they simply don't for reasons such as a difference of opinion on a certain topic or they simply feel annoyed by a certain user.  At the bottom of this petition, I simply want to say that I do not advocate users breaking the rules and do believe that they should be punished fairly but sometimes the moderators act in an unfair or unreasonable manner and I believe one should have the right to appeal and defend oneself. I believe all of my six suggestions can help make Stormfront fairer and also reduce rule breaking in the future. The picture I have posted shows a temporary ban notice I received that doesn't tell me in any way what I did wrong nor who gave me this temporary ban. As I mentioned before, I really do want to follow the rules and I try to but I do not know why I got this temporary ban and I don't know what I must stop doing or start doing because I am not told what I did wrong and I have no ability to appeal or defend myself against this temporary ban nor can I ask anyone about why.
